Meet Jesse Porter

Jesse and his four siblings grew up in Kokomo, IN, where he graduated from Indiana University Kokomo with a B.S. in Accounting. Jesse knew from an early age that he wanted to own his own business and gained valuable customer service, leadership, and management experience working for Quill, the nation’s leader in office supply services for more than 60 years. In 2014, he was recruited by a customer to join their organization, which happened to be a roofing company. Jesse realized he had a passion for the roofing and construction industry and, together with his family, launched Porter Roofing & Restoration in 2019.

Upon joining the roofing industry, Jesse devoted his energies to learning how insurance policies work and how adjusters evaluate damage and replacement costs. This expertise allows him to be a firm and successful advocate for his customers when they are faced with storm damage and uncertainty about how to restore their homes’ roofs. Jesse and his team recognize that many homeowners are unfamiliar with what happens leading up to getting a new roof. Educating customers about insurance policies, roofing materials, the construction process, and what to expect at every step is a major component to Porter Roofing’s values and standard of service.

Jesse, Maria, and their children live on the northside of Indianapolis and the family can often be found on jobsites watching construction, talking with homeowners, and learning about the family business.
